TP: (Prayers for Peace) Into the Clouds

Into the clouds go the daily prayers of peace, for human beings everywhere.

For it is in front of this clock
peace mongers have gathered daily
for more than 7 years
with their signs and waves
hoping Someone is really listening...

Ukulele, Day 12

Tonight you belong to me...

Ukulele Day 11

Because I love you, I didn't sing --this time!! ♥

TP: Edible (Experiences)

Nothing in the world like makin' some dough with the girls.

It seemed the three batches of croissant start were a great win/win project.

My dough would be laminated and turned, ready to (after a while longer)
become les croissant et pain au chocolat por moi.

The girls get a headstart on their doughmaking skillz.

We got to spend the afternoon having the most amazing conversations,

the heartiest giggles, and the deepest questions (some with answers!).
Their energy is so delicious, I just eat it up ♥

TP: (Soon to be) Edible

With the help of the sun, strawberries are on their way

...right into my mouth!

What's Edible in your world?

The Burning Question

I'm playing along with Ann ♥ and The Burning Question she posts on Tuesdays:

YESTERDAY? I rocked the bake, I made another bowl, I remembered to breathe & I snuggled with m'boy ♥
TODAY? I am creating MORE amazing art ♥ I am a sweet and thoughtful mama ♥ I will again, rock the bake!
TOMORROW? Mercury will be out of retrograde and so will I! Corvallis will be well-stocked on the dessert front ♥ I might just have to visit the clay studio again...

Me & Oscar

A facebook quiz, which we all know to be of the utmost reliability, has matched my personality (after 11 questions) with that of Oscar Wilde:

Diana took the "Which Crazy Writer Are You?" quiz and the result is Oscar Wilde.

You are funny, witty, charming... and have, um, "unique" personal tastes. You like to have fun, you don't hide who you are, and you don't particularly give a damn what people think about you; you're just as likely to be seen in an all-male Amsterdam brothel as a London literary society dinner. You see beauty in life, and humor in tragedy. If it weren't for the hosts' fears of you saying or doing something indecent, you might very well be the perfect dinner companion.

Honestly, I've never before felt compelled to ready anything he wrote... maybe it's time. After seeing this picture, I wonder Where have  you been all my life? ♥

TP: Spring Has Sprung (sez the blueberries!)

One berry, Two berry, Pick me a Blueberry

Hat berry, Shoe berry, in my Canoe berry

~Jamberry

These are the blossoms of Andromeda, one of my three well-loved blueberry bushes.  Lucius and Narcissa are blooming beautifully, as well.  The blueberry blooms were hard to capture, as the background lilacs demanded both attention and focal point. Given the fleeting lifespan of the purple blooms, I made sure to give them their due, while never neglecting an opportunity to express my gratitude to my summer-long friends and berry producers ♥

TP: Spring Has Sprung (for Gramma Bunnie)

My Gramma Bunnie loved roses. On her clothes, as tchotchkes, as wall art, ROSES!

Unbeknownst to either of us, I relocated in the Rose Capital of the Universe ♥

So now, a whole year since she's been gone, I enjoy my first Springtime Rose blossoms for her...

See what else is springing up!
