This scene, early this morning, reminded me of
Carmi's cobblestone-looking bread loaves. If only I could photograph the subtle scent of this cake...
I call this one "Lemon Kissed Blueberry"
regular ol' coffee cake batter, add 1-2 lemon zests, top with blueberries (poke 'em down, not *too* down) and streusel. After baking, squeeze some lemon juice onto the *bottom* of the cake & mix up the rest of the juice with powdered sugar for a delightful glaze. Or skip the whole process and let me know when you'll be in town, I'll whip one right up for ya!! ♥
