13 Ways I'm affected by the writer's strike.
1. It's January. Hello. Mama's dates start this month. Mommy's
very important date. I ♥ Mondays. Mmmmmmmm, mmmmmmmmm, mmmmmmm. I
need 24 to start on time.

It's imperative my date be guilt free. Please pay the writers. Thank them on my behalf every day. For bringing me Keifer in an amazing well-woven package. I already thank god for this package.

Thank you Gods. All of you. I am grateful for your gifts. Please don't delay my date.
2.
Pushing Daisies. If not for the writer's strike I may not have watched the whole season on line. I hope the writers get some kind of compensation for that. It's a sweet and charming, macabre and dark, very diana, very Tim Burton, twisted hour of comedy. And it's narrated by Jim Dale. Delicious. Delicious Baked Goods, too. I want MORE!

3.
Chuck. I watched him on line,
because of the strike, too. Please pay someone accordingly. I was afraid this guy would be Steve Carrel painful. Thank heavens he is not!! He is sweet and charming and *smart* and foolish. And worth seeing more of! Bring back Chuck!

4. Desperate for Desperate Housewives!! I am glad to see a new episode slated for my Sunday Night enjoyment. Daggummit! I coulda dug out the bodies from the tornado mess my own self, by now!! I just gotta know my girls are okay. Leaving us hanging like this is
not nice. Writers still deserve to get paid.
5. Ugly Betty. Charlie's spawn is only growing my the moment here folks! We're on a serious Nature imposed time crunch. This whole thing has gotta resolve before the early spring birth. Now what? The writers have a lot of work to catch up on. I can't wait. Really. Stop making me.
6. Aaaaaaahhhhh, I got a 2 hour, yes,
2 hour Law & Order fix last night and today. New cop (Remember Brenda's Psycho Brother from Six Feet Under?), New ADA and :::trumpets::: Jack McCoy as DA. New episodes of the spin offs are on my way, too. ::::gratitude:::: On another show, the big gap in episodes may have made the transition easier; I'm hardcore I'm used to the revolving door of characters on this series. The Gemini in me is rarely bored in this genre. Thank you writers!
7. I've fallen in love with
Graham Norton. He's on the DVR now, high priority even. Marilyn Manson on BBC is incomparable. OMG. Never a dull moment. Never dry panties. Thanks to
his writers for
not striking and continuing to provide me entertainment. I hope you're paid well.
8. I'm ready to become the next
Dog Whisperer. Reruns + too many channels = bizarre results. Cesar both repels and attracts me. Which, of course, warms my Gemini heart. I'm gonna keep watching for the next year, until I'm sure I'm ready to be a calm, assertive pack leader for the dog we're willing to welcome then. I don't want Cesar to have to come train me to do anything. I think I got it already.
9. I'd like my favorite
Reality Shows to be a delicious
part of my overall television diet, not the sustenance. It's been like living on popcorn. That said, I am loving the new season of
Project Runway. Though I have a love/hate relationship with 10. Real Housewives of Orange County. I wouldn't mind if I had better competition for my attention. And yet, I am compelled and repulsed. (there's that theme again) This show especially gives me even greater respect for the writers of the shows I actually love to watch. They deserve a raise. All of them. 11. American Idol is coming. Shhhh. Balance. That's what this girl needs. Please, dear writers, provide me with some soon.
12. Earl. I need Earl back. I miss Randy. I worry about him. Plus Earl's got karma to tend.

Karma alone doesn't get the show written. Pay the writers already and bring back the Crab Shack Gang.
13.

I got a break from Michael. Okay, I think I'm ready. I've had a lovely long break from the pain of who he is. I will breathe and remember he is fictional. And I will think that maybe the writers for The Office don't need a raise, Steve does. Then again, he should be fired and put out of all our misery. And we'd miss him. I can't wait for the painful hiney tingles. I miss Michael. And Jim. He's cute. And doofy. And painless. He loves Pam. She's sweet. And Dwight (the second Six Feet Under connection of this post). What do you say about Dwight? I miss his macabre logic. I want to hear him say
Eyes are the groin of the face and mean it. hee hee. The strike gave me a chance to miss the creepiest guy on network televison.
Thanks??
